Me and flybikes lee have been rather busy today. Wheels went onto the car a few months back looking abit worse for wear so today as it was fairly warm decided to give them a lick of paint

All preped up an waiting for paint

Freshly painted

Just to show how bad the old ones were, Rather dirty with brake dust aswell

Then all four sorted and back on the car, Got a friend making up some H decals for the centers so will stick them on once they have been made up

Also fitted this, only have pics in the box as yet

And finally retimmed the door cards the other day so here is some pics of that

They now match the seats really well.
Got some Ek skirts on the way so will get them fitted by the weekend fingers crossed!!

Not been on here in a long while but this is were the civ is now upto

I have sorted out most of the body work now its time to move on to power. My idea is to build b16 high compression with Ek9 pistons, skunk2 stage2 cams, skunk2 valve springs and retainers and other goodies.

B16 bottom end with Arp studs

Ek9 Pistons

Valve springs and retainers

And Stage2 Cams

pulled the b16a pistons out of the bottom end i have ready for when i get new bearings and piston rings for the Ek9 pistons and rods to go in.

Sump and pickup off

Crank

Pistons layed out in cylinder order for now

and an empty b16

Only got a picture of the harness so far but will get a pic of the hand controller as i was stunned at the info that it produces, its a proper good piece of kit!!!

Yep integra inlet mani, also got throttle body aswell for it. Not sure what kinda figure to aim for to be honest, i want a reliable nippy 1600cc but if i get anywere near 200bhp ill be more than happy, but i think will probs be between 180-190.

Piston rings are here, so all i need now is for my gasket set to arrive and sort out a timing belt then once the machine work has been done its good for being put back together!!

So, plans have changed. Was going for a b16 with ek9 pistons etc, but iv managed to get my hands on a b18c4 real cheap so bits that were going to be used on the b16 are now going to be used on the b18 and with a little better end power!!

So far ive cleaned up the block itself as it was a little grubby, and sent the crank off to be checked over. Going to order some acl bearings in the next couple of days etc then the build starts

Nice, C4's are made for f/i applications with such low compression, u should throw a turbo on!

yea f/i would be gud, but with the ek9 pistons that will be going in it, its gona be spot on for N/A. I am considering once this is built, building the b16 that ive still got into a turbo. but not sure yet.

If i were you id do it the other way around, the c4 will hold a turbo down as standard, but will require a fair few parts to get the compression up for a sick N/A build.
Either way tho it will be quick, i had a standard C4'd eg and it was rapid!
