PostSubject: Eg6 under construction   Fri 06 Feb 2009, 8:30 pm

I started a build up on some of the other forums however only recently joined here so might aswell post on here aswell. This is my Eg6 at the moment.

Gathered a few bits already for it, but its going into the body shop first to have rear arches cut out and new ones welded in and then the whole car painted!!
Just a few of the bits iv already collected

Hubs, brakes and wheels are changing for a 4x114.3 set up with 96spec alloys, 282mm front and 262mm rear brakes.

First things first though, new trailarm bushes were needed so had the fun job of burning them out

and replacing them with these

Took a trip to see Pazza the other day to pick up some well needed support for the civic, standard seats just dont cut it!! (Thanks Pazza)

Thats all for now but updates will follow!!!

thats really as low as i want it tbh, any lower just isnt really a great option near were i live.

The arches were around 25 each but its all getting included into the end price with all paint and labour.

I meant rather than struggling taking the hubs off the rear trailing arms teg rear trailing arms fit eg's (i know) so you could have just swapped the lot accross, its alot faster.

Spent a little bit of time this morning finishing one side off so that all that needs to be done is bleed the brakes. Disc, caliper, handbrake cable all back on. So now running ONE 262mm rear brake

Coin pocket fitted along with a trail fit of one of my new seats

Seat feels in perfect driving position, lower than before and holds alot better
