Pretty sure it will dude, everyone running a turbo this size uses the half size. You'll probably need a slimmer fan aswell though

but to save alot of moeny but have sumthing tht looks the same i would go for BYS spoiler blocks for 160,although saying tht the seeker spoiler is alot bigger than standard ek9 ones

right, been doing more research, and gotta say the projects on hold for a couple of monthes...................but for a good reason :plot:

a couple of monthes of saving.....+ sell a couple of my cars, the impreza and mx5.

after trying decide on where to get my engine built, im still at a loss.....looking on ebay.com i found a built ERL Performance Darton Sleeved 84mm B16a Turbo Shortblock.

wasnt what i wanted but it got me interested.......

The Engine Consists of the following componets........

B16a Block Sleeved by ERL Performance

Bore & Storke 84mmx77.20

Darton 84mm RACE Sleeves

Wiseco Coated Pistons 9.0:1 Compression

Wiseco 84XX Piston Rings

Wiseco Upgraded Wrist Pins

Eagle 900hp H-Beam Rods (7/16 Rod Bolts)

Eagle 4340 Chromoly Crank (rated up to 1000hp)

ACL Coated Race Bearings (mains)

Genuine Honda Rod Bearings (TPR Specs)

Competition Blueprinted & Assembled

this was from a company called TPR-cincy in the states.
i looked at there passed auctions and found they build alot of engines. i searched the net to do some research and found alot of good things about them.

Looking through there feedback i found a b18c1 built to a similar spec which sold for your US $3,250.00 which is 1 993.9 at the current exchange rate, which is crap right now as you all know, and that is still cheap!.

so ive messaged them to get a quote based on there b18c1 build. i explained i had the b18c4 and darton sleeves, pauter rods & arp head stud kit.

they said they will give me a quote based on me sending them what i have and they will add the rest and build it.

there prices on ebay look good so fingers crossed there quote will be good Wink

i feel i can trust the work they do and wouldnt mind spending the extra shipping fee's etc.

waiting on the quote will keep the thread up to date

no, not heard a bad story yet. hope i dont aswel

theres a few tpr builds on here:

http://www.cincystreetscene.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=45

they look like experts really. id be quite happy to give them the job of doing it. or if it came to it, buy one theyve already built. maybe that would of been cheaper if i hadnt bought my internals already.

for how cheap they are its insane to build your own! lol

im thinking of just waiting for them to put another b18 up for auction and buy that when i have the funds rather than shipping mine over. i'll wait for my quote 1st........
