small update: a few more parts towards the build-up.

i had a set of Craft Square TC-F Carbon mirrors on eg6, and obviously when i sold it i kept them, as they are an expensive bit of kti,and not to mention the fact i bloody love them!

I was just about to advertise them for sale on civiclife when i came accros this

http://www.nengun.com/craft-square/corner-plate

Corner plates to convert them to fit an ek! or whatever else for that matter, for just 35 :-)
needless to say, they will be purchased

Another piece of the puzzle

Took a trip up to see jonny and luke at tegiwa imports on the weekend, and picked up a Greddy Oil cooler, with Earls Lines and Grex Sandwhich plate.

Also got a master cyclinder brace while i was there

next update should be my internals and a few other engine parts :-)

Update : Big Part Of The Puzzle

Well i FINALLY found a white ek to drop the c4 into.
2 Owners from new
58,000 on the clock. (2700 when they bought it back in 2000)
tons of receipts
honda service history up until 46,000 miles
original receipt of purchase for 7,800 from honda back in 2000
3 oem keys including the all important RED key

Found it on ebay, and i messaged her to ask how much she would end early for, but unfortunately that morning her daughter had been driving it and had an accident.
So i messaged back, and said depending on how bad the damage was, id still be interested in it

post-accident

Bumper, wing, headlight was damaged. Flitch was ok though :-) purely panel damage. also just caught the rear arch too. i took the headlight of of my red ek so i could drive it back,as it was up in wilmslow, cheshire.

Gonna start taking that lil d14 out this weekend if i have time, ready to drop the c4 in

yeh man thats cool, all you need is a vti engine loom from an ek (a mint one) put that on the engine while it is out and a conversion harness thats the wiring sorted, you need to change the mount that is currently bolted to the engine on the timing belt side as the ones on the C4 are aligned straight and the mount on the ek is angled.

Small Update:

EK9 Gauge Cluster
courtesy of TEGBOY on civiclife

and a brand new Sir Rocker Cover thanks to jonny and luke at tegiwa.

finally managed to find some time to get the c4 out the mb6 yesterday.

took the driveshafts out and disconnected the loom
and in no time she was out

i was well pleased....can u tell Smile

me and marcus took a break and went to machine mart and picked up this

put it together, took the starter off, and the gearbox and clutch off the engine and bolted her to the stand

then i took the alternator and inlet manifold off and gave her a bit of a clean

put the manifold turbo and downpipe on to give me some inspiration to get this done

next on the agenda, when i get payed, ordering internals and a few other bits

and the mb6 has to be gone asap so let me know if theres any parts you want from it before it goes

just looking through my hyperrev book and it appears the spoiler is
made by ZEAL cost 58'000yen at the time and fully angle adjustable.

Found a few pics on the internets and is also being called 'Seeker' in many american forums but nothing on the www.seeker.co.jp site about it.

Also found out the brackets are available on their own to adjust any spoiler..

That then lead me to this thread.

http://www.ek9.org/forum/interior-exterior/4872-alex-motorsport-adjustable-rear-spoiler-brackets.html

No one can say for sure were they are being sold or still about but its possible to make up your own i guess looking at the pictures.
If i come across anything ill let you know.

Very Happy

Edited to add -
in 5 minutes ive found this.

http://www.alex-motorsports.co.jp/en/en/index.html
http://www.neweraparts.com/Default.aspx?tabid=54&CategoryID=15&List=0&catpageindex=2&Level=a&ProductID=763

If you email alex-motorsport they will quote back about 60/70 and they have a rep in cyprus that you can order off, the guys in the states get theirs in about 2 weeks delivery time.

Lemmi know how you get on cause a set of them would be awesome!
