 coilovers and MOT's

okay so mr MOT is looming...i have to switch a tyre...but other than that should be ok..

should i raise my car for the test??

most mot inspection ramps should be ok to drive onto. never had a problem with any of mine

I had to raise mine quite a bit to get the jack to go underneath my car which was a drive on type and also to do the brake testing on the rollers.

Had to raise coupe for brake testing too, otherwise would have ripped front bumper and lip off.

you will need to raise it ..
as said brake testing on the rollers. the car will drop a good 3" into the roller..
just put some elecy tape to mark where it is know then you can drop it to were it was after the mot..

sounds like solid advice...could do with raising it to 'winter spec' anyhows

Yes, yes there is... ashamed to admit it but thats' how i'll be going round my mot...because it wont pass.

EDIT: i mean its not unsafe.. but no yeah it wont pass.
