Service - new oil, filter etc

Is this just a 1.6 16v (no vtec)? ur missing out if it is!

I do not rate air filters located there if it is a DD, i had a bad experience.

Look forward to seeing it after a re-spray.

Yeah tesh its only a 16v but in it's defence it pretty quick, as Ned said the D16a9 are very good engines..

I reckon would give a B16 (uk VT) a good run with the right mods, was speaking to another 4guk guy earlier today and he made near 200bhp on standard internals from a D16a9 using just an Ebay kit inter cooler and piping kit with a Volvo turbo "ghetto" manifold and down pipe.

He said these engines are perfect to turbo just drop in some 2.2 injectors and they make for good power on low boost.

not that im going turbo or anything Wink ....yet.. and the Air filter pipe im swapping back to an OEM set up I have in the garage as it whistles on acceleration and is very close to the battery, very close..

As regards to the finances, since selling the sedan and parting off a few bits I had, we managed to pay off some bills we were worrying about and I had and managed to save enough to get it sprayed.

Other than that just the usual plans really, clean it up etc.. Looking forward now to seeing it in a mint condition perfect base for something to work on.

Seriously? So as I drive my car hard to work and back it would be ok for me to rock a different colour door and wing? I have cable ties as I can't afford a bodyshop repair on my whole bumper just because of a crack. Not for a 'scene' look, it's genuinely serving a purpose.
All I'm saying is before spending money on lips or suspension or anything else get the car the same colour all over, because tbh any car with multi coloured panels (not faded but actual different colours) will look ass no matter what you do to it,

In all fairness Duane it does look like ass atm wit the 2 random panels, hence the respray on 12th September.

@ Dave not that difficult at all - in fact quite simple - d-b mounts, a hydro to cable converter unless I run a Y21 box, ecu, drive shafts, then its just a bit of wiring. Like any Honda motor swap really.

Can't you get red pin striping from the bumpers? Would look cool. I think its an OEM honda thing too.

Why not, in all fairness Ned hes spent a huge amount of time & money building such a clean car. Your both very lucky to have had a Banzai feature simply because of the sheer amount of work you have both put into building such nice cars..
