PostSubject: My VSM EJnine with B16a2 conversion .... PIC HEAVY!   Tue 09 Aug 2011, 3:08 am

Hey guys, here's the story of my EJ9 so far...

I bought it like this back in August 2009 when I was only 16 ! haha:

Got a Mugen rep lip:

Then some 16" Rota Slipstreams in white:

Some colour coded mirrors:

Front EK9 rep grill:

Colour Coded the rear plate recess:

At the south Mimms Meet:

Then a new silver EK9 rep grill and fitting some sparco recliners at South Mimms lol:

sparcos fully fitted:

New D2 LCAs and Tegiwa lower rear tie bar:

Bought some BWM E30 BBS RZs, but after this test fitted they were sold:

New engine purchased:

Old Engine out:

Generic empty bay shot:

New engine bolted in:

All full in:

Randomly had a spontanious strip out:

Got a new exhaust cat back system:

Managed to get hold of some OZ wheels after I found cracks in 3 out of 4 Rotas :angry2: :

Grabbed a bargin whilst I could and purchased this Momo wheel and boss:

Bought a broken EK9 Front lip and fixed it, then resprayed it in VSM:

This is how it stands now:

I plan to have some coilovers bought and fitted by JAE on the 9th September. Update will be made as soon as there is progress. I now have a temporary job and have finished education for good so progess should hit some VTEC Wink :drive:

Cheers for reading !

Funny you should mention that Joe.

Im selling some pretty sick rims and Ned has a set of 25ml spacers that would set this car right off...

:-)

Check FS section. / pm Ned re spacers

Finally got my MeisterR Zeta-S Superlows this morning at 9am, I was asleep until 1pm but I started working on them at around 2pm. Finished them all at around 7pm after having an LCA bolt that had previously round and I had welded a nut on to the end of round AGAIN. But a quick trip to Rose Autos in Crawley meant that I managed to extract and replace the bolt with a special socket. I used a bolt that the coilovers replace on the LCAs to replace to damaged one and problem was solved Very Happy

As it was fairly late and I was shattered after 4 hours of rolling around on a hard driveway, so I will be adjusting the heights a little tomorrow to bring the rear up to level with the front and protect my exhaust that seems to hang mega low and clips any minor bump in the road lol

Also need spacer/tyres and my arches rolling to achieve what I want, bu I may just go for some new wheels

Good news is a I have a temporary job with my uncle now so things should start moving faster with this build !

Here are a few dodgey iPhone photos from tonight, better ones coming tomorrow or sunday !

The handling has improved LOADS!

A MASSIVE thankyou to Jerrick at MeisterR as he sorted me out good and proper as I paid for the coilovers on Thursday morning and recieved them at 9am this morning (Friday) !! Freaking AWESOME product and service !

Man those wheels are sexy, that's the only word for them. Could do with spacers would look mean with poke rather than tuck. Just my opinion

Nice looking car all over having said that, so clean.
