Everyone loves an update.

First up a lovely Toyota Celica, unfortunately the owner has other ideas. He has a Veilside replica bodykit to be fitted along with scissor doors! The body kit is terrible quality and requires alot of work.

Next up is something i'm quite proud of i painted the side of this Nissan Qashqai, could lead to the start of a contract with Nissan.

Here is a few more random ones with the Gemballa as well. Solid carbon fibre wing, the rear wheels are 13J wide!!

Then late afternoon we dropped the Nissan off and came back with a Transit which requires some serious work!

So i broke out the DA sander and the panel hammer and dolly knocked as much out as possible will finish it off tomorrow, needs a new sill tho!

Comments and criticism welcome.

nice work, just out of curiousuty, when you take them back to bare metal (as you have with the transit there) do you coat it with anything over night to stop rust penetrating?

Good question, once the filler work is finished the bare metal gets covered in etch primer. Then 3-4 coats of high build primer. Once the primer is dry and rubbed down its on with the top coat.

got ya, so say if you get halfway through doing the bare metal work and need to leave it for a while etch primer would seal it from oxide?

btw i want to see the progress of this thing!

Normally if we sanded it down to bare metal and left it for a while (like my EG was) then before you prime it you would quickly go over it with a sanding disc of your choice to get any surface crap off it. That car will be one that sits there for a while and slowly bits get done to it no one really wants to work on it need some serious welding!

Been a while since an update boss had the camera. Here is a little Corsa we did last week.

Also a mint fiesta 28k on it! Did a cam belt and service on it as well as the body work. Will get some more pictures of that tomorrow.

The transit is moving on nicely new sill sections and a b pillar can get some pictures of that tomorrow. The Mustang has also been finished and moved.

Who wants updates??

Okay not much to show you at the moment just a EG car, today just went round it quickly had a look at it to see all the dents damage etc on the car. The windscreen doesn't look great its starting to de-laminate quite bad. I will start the stripping tomorrow and update the thread.
