There is so much better out there in terms of rims as i should know (been through about 5-6 sets on my ek which is also 4x100). Take a look on wheel whores, pistonheads, ebay and you will find a much better set, trust me Smile

good plans, i love mx5's, and not many mk2's that have been modified to their potential Cool

as for the wheels......The originals are genuine Japanese Gab Sports

http://i32.tinypic.com/oadf87.jpg

Rota have flooded the market with replica's under the name GT3, to the extent to people that are new to the game just refer to them as GT3's, which is pretty sad in itself IMO.

now DRAG have done the DR16.......so in effect, they are replica's, of a replica wheel Neutral

i think ned put it best when he said....."Rockin' Rota's is like Rockin' Hi-Tec Trainers"

im not sure what to say about replica's of replica's

hovis have a more wholesome soft full bread, asdas own is flat and lifeless, hahaha, jks

do what you want with it, its your car, i do think you should atleast have gone for the 8j's

obviously your not going to like them, look under your name it says dislikes rotas!
if you have nothing nice to say dont say anything at all...
i like them, not all of us have loads of money to buy "real" alloys
its what i can afford and if you dont like them just keep that oppinion to yourself

thanks

dear o dear, dude this is an open forum and ned is a main mod, he can say whatever the fugg he likes LOL, TOA doesnt like rota's, so posting them isnt gonna really help your build thread.

the thing is, you could of actusally bought 'real deal' wheels for the price you have paid for these. Razz

yeh your rite it is an open forum, people are entitled to ther oppinions but still you may not like rotas but a load of the members on here have rotas,
and i wouldent want to spend my money on a beat up set of "real" wheels that will need tonnes of work wich are proberly rare as rocking horse shit to buy

im not a argumentative person but it just annoys me when people put a downer on my things iv worked my ass of to pay for

nah thats fair dude, and fairplay to you for working your ass off an if you like them then thats all that matters but dont be shady with people when you post pics of wheels that our forum is known for not liking, because it never goes down well lol
