PostSubject: My EK4 VTI-s   Mon 14 Feb 2011, 2:31 am

Been on here a few weeks now and i have found my old pics so i thought it was about time to show you all what my car was like when i first bought it and what i have done to it since.

When i first bought it, i saw it on a forecourt in worcester with no plates, just the VTIs Badge on the boot and the DOHC Vtec stickers on the sides. went the next day to look at it and found out it had been owned by a 56yr old woman. Yay for me, only had about 56,000 on the clock so it hadnt even been run in lol. Did some research on the civic and found out it was 1 of 200 ever made, which meant that my car was rarer than my mates jordan, lol he didnt believe me until i showed him the info.

After a while i wanted it to look different so my missus paid to get my lights tinted and bought me some new alloys. my missus also bought me the angel eyes for my Birthday, shipped from america off ebay.

Due to an accident that i had, i smashed the front drivers side on a kerb so i put the standard VTIs wheels back on for the time being, I also got myself some jap plates as well, looked much better than standard uk plates.

Ive also added some performance goodies to the civic, in the way of some nology HT leads, a titanium Veilside exhaust backbox (for an S2000) with a straight pipe to the cat and a HKS Super megaflow filter.

Since then i have changed the back lights to the facelift jdm lights, took the angel eyes out and DIYed My front lights. Removed the Ninja decals from the sides, and got my standard wheels painted in Mercedes benz Edition 10 Grey. As it stands now all thats left is get some Summer wheels and drop it. Might be some other things in the future. Watch this space Very Happy

very clean mate

not too keen on the exhaust (although it is very unique) and its screaming out to be dumped, but other than that very nice

i hated those other lights you put on, glad you got rid of them. looks better now, could deffo do with a drop though.

being as this is number 1 that makes it pretty damn rare, if you was to sell it i'd deffo say put it back to standard as you'll get more for an original number 1.

make sure you maintain it, its worth lookin after.

ok dude i'll have a ganda!

with ebay's it aint the handling thats bad, they actually handle pretty sick but it s just the ride quality its a pretty bumpy ride.

good for cheap dumpedness though.

ive never been keen on stickerboming, in some small area's, subtle plaes ive dug it - but now its hit 'civiclife' everyone seems to jump on it.

honestly, paint > stickerbomb

looking sick otherwise

no offence taken mate, im easy going. in certain ways stickerbombing looks the nuts, but if you do too much on your car it looks naff. looked on a scooby site once and everyone on there was stickerbombing there centre console, i mean wheres the originality in that? that why i didnt do my fuel cap or my interior. On a different note, i think my back end needs to come down more, and ill get some better pics of it when its not on the main road, and cleaner
