That sump does look dangerously low, one speed bump too quick and you'll take the pan off.

Is there no way as "Cus" said to raise the mounts up or look Clockwisemotion do a dry sump, slim kit for a K20 that should give you a little more clearance.

Has everyone failed to see the blatant reason why? The tiny as wheels!
Some 16's would have it sitting as oem as a B-Series

Those wheels are just to skate it about while it's being built right?
Either 15's with high profile tyres (track tyres- R888's) or 16's will low pro's.
15's look best on Eg's IMO

What K-Swap mount/kit you used jack?

Or if you really wanted to be fancy, dry sump would make things much easier but they cost $$$ Awesome build, so looking forward to the finished article Very Happy

Yea trhese wheels are just moving it about. I didnt know i had more comments here, my bad.

The sump will eventually be off the ground when i get my 5 stud conversion etc bolted up but atm thats not my main priority. I bought a damaged engine and i bought the rebuild parts, but when we where cleanin the engine me and my mechanic where happy with the bores. So now its going to be re-bored. Basically its going to be running like a 2.1 instead of a 2.0. So the dc5 pistons i have bought will have to be sold and ill have to buy oversized.

Im runnings hasport mounts Dave.

Updates eh??

Well i hadnt been bothered with forums for a while there and had sorta thought about seling up and buying an s13/14 but going to get stuck back into the car.

I bought a new bottom end a while back with Wiseco Pistons, Blueprint Rods, arp head studs etc.

K24 Bottom end,

K24 Crank,

Wiseco Pistons,

Blueprint rods.

Ill be putting an order in with hybrid racing very shortly for my shifter box, cables and s2000 oil pump. Should have a mani sorted aswell.

My goal is for a 300+ N/A powerhouse.

Jack.
