Hah, the mounting holes have disintegrated and looks like tiger seal or something of that sort used instead.

Today has been one of those days!

Nothing would line up or bolt straight in, was ready to call it a day after a couple of hours but pressed on and managed to pretty much complete the front driverside.

Hubs, arms, coilovers, discs, lines and calipers all installed, torqued up and marked so I knew they had been done, some professional shizzle!

A completed pic

And with the wheel on, not much clearance.

Finished the front passenger side just, so for the front all I need to do is bleed the brakes and torque the hub nuts, which I'll do once the wheels are on and it's on the ground

Just got the rears to do now and get my exhaust welded. At work tonight and tomorrow so will have a bash at it Tuesday.

Got asked to work today so the idea of working on the car all day went out of the window, but I still managed so spend a couple of hours on it after work and got the rear passenger side done with the arm, lines, rear ARB and brace on.

Its all back together!

But it don't stop, thanks to pallett and mouse for giving me a hand bleeding but the brakes are still weak.

1st bleed. Nothing there
2nd bleed. Slightly better
3rd bleed. Can stop not in any hurry.

So I think I'm going to resort to taking it to a garage to be sorted.

I need to get my exhaust on first though, I've taken it to be welded and should be ready for me to collect tomorrow.

Hmmm you checked all your connections stokes?

As the brake pedal felt mint when i left.

Or im guessing there could be a leak from where the brake hose bolts to the caliper if its similar to toyota and you got a bolt to bolt it to the caliper.

No, the pedal is normal. Just feels a little spongey.

You've fully confused me now ezz, the valve was working fine before the change.

I've pulled the line off and the arrows point towards the bulkhead but say '<----ENGINE'. But the lines are facing the exact same way they come off the DX and worked fine?

Looking at it again, I'm sure I've put it on wrong. I've changed it over but can't start the car until tomorrow as the neighbors will one bomb me as its only got the manifold on.

Stokes, you bleed it in the right order?

N/s rear, o/s rear, n/s front, o/s front?

What method are you using? Bit of rag and open and closing the nipple every pump of the pedal or jar half full with fluid and a bit of hose with a gorse in? Or a pressure bleeder?

I would just bleed them again and the pedal should become solid!

Other than that hows the car looking?

What you had done to the exhaust?

Ben when i did it they had already attempted the lot and when i got there skitt was pumping the pedal and stokesy was un doing the brake pipes to the master cylinder for some reason lmao.

#But i just did it from the from the fronts to the rears not correct order but i got rid of a bit of air and the pedal was mint.

I want another look as he reckons the brakes are spongey but dunno wot he means as the pedal was mint when i left it.

The dude at the garage recommended bleeding the master cylinder and said that was how to do it. Every single time we bleed the brakes it feels fine until he drives it, the pedal was literally instantly biting earlier felt rock hard yet he drove it and had next to no brakes.
@ben we were bleeding it the same way mousey showed us before which worked on my car, pumping the pedal till we got lots of pressure then keep the pedal depressed while cracking the nipple, wait for air/fluid while keeping pedal depressed then tightening the nipple before releasing the pedal so no air should get pulled back in.

Strange that is, when i bledone last week, all the fluid was drained so had nothing but air in there and starting from n/s rear put teh piping on and opened the nipple then pumped the brakes for about 10 mins before anything came out obviously has to fill the system, but after that, bled til tjere was no bubbles then drove it but still felt a bit weak so re bled them and now the pedal is alot better, this is why i hate bleeding brakes! Air always seems to get back in the system! I would try using the jar method as its the easiest i find. Have you checked your level since driving?
