PostSubject: Cozzi's EP3   Wed 06 Oct 2010, 3:08 am

I have owned my CTR for a couple of months now, and after making a decent start on the modification front, I thought its about time I made a work in progress thread

The Spec List as follows:

Enkei Mitsi Evo 8 Alloys - 8J all round in Red
Do-Luck Purple Braided Brake Hoses
FK Springs
Eibach Camber Adjusters
Stage 1 Clutch
8K Xenons
BuddyClub Pro Spec III Cat Back
Gruppe M Forced Induction
DC Sports Decat Manifold
RBC Intake Manifold
Mugen Front Splitter
Facelift Lightened Flywheel
Facelift Fuel Injection System
Red Stuff Pads all round
Tegwia Socks and Tow Hook

I bought the car fairly standard, other than the Enkei wheels, some of the smaller parts and the front Mugen Splitter, which if im honest attracted me to the car in the first place.

First modification, after reading about them alot was to have a Gruppe M fitted, closely followed by a Spoon N1 Back Box.

Next was a Seibon carbon Bonnet and a Tegiwa Tow Hook

I then went on to spraying the interior panels Red, which I dont have pictures of, and the wheels soon followed in a Milano Red, over grey primer instead of red to make them lighter

The latest of modifications for a while I think, is selling the N1, and buying the BuddyClub Pro Spec III Cat Back, which to date is my best mod, due to the epic noise it produces and the feel of alot more power in the lower revv's.

The DC Manifold is currently in MIJ in walsall having a new flexi, and the RBC is on order and being delivered on Thursday Smile

Spark Plug cover i ordered of ebay, and custom painted myself from silver to the above

People may notice i do alot of work on the car at night, as im the most impatient person in the world, and cant wait until weekends to get things fitted lol.

Comments welcome.

Thanks.

Some good parts there, love the Noise of the BC. It much louder than the N1?

As Dave said that looks a very good spec.... and I bet the BC sounds awesome. Im the same mate off out side in a bit to fit my new clocks and sort out some annoying rattle from a jubilee clip on the exhaust.

I must admit im not a huge fan of the bonnet but the progress on this thread looks good....

I know of so many ep3 that crack there manifolds, that flexi should make it safe. Good stuff

Well apparently manifold companies suggest you have the uprated engine mounts, to stop the engine from rocking as much, and cracking the flexi, which i have bought and will fit at the same time.

Its a honda manifold, but off one of the largers engines, i think the K24, but is has been dyno proven to add between 10-15bhp over the PRR after a remap which is the K20 inlet manifold on a EP3

saying that my edelbrock performer - x on the intergra made a big difference, without a map.
really rate them as a performance mod.

Rocker cover looks SICK.
