PostSubject: eBay Suspension   Tue 01 Jun 2010, 6:23 am

Basically I want my EK slammed, I was going to get a set of GAB's but they sold so now I want to just get it low.

I don't care about the ride, I just want it safe so I'm not going to cut the springs.

I've heard eBay sleeves are what I need but any more advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

ebay springs will do the job, it will be pretty low but not dumped, you'll need to get a full kit if u want to go really low.

I agree with cus ebay springs are only ok if u wanna go low but they are bouncy and the ride ist a great one. I would recomend holding on to ur cash for a set of decent coilovers. But if u wanna go low on a budget ebays will do the job..........

i had some and didnt rate them untill i sent them away and then got brand new one's and could adjust the damper etc

couple of days before i sold the hatch i loved them and the car handled like it was on rails even tho i didnt have bigger arb's and struts so if you do end up doing that all i can say is BOOOM!!

can only speak from experience, and koni hasnt impressed me with quality and performance
The tokico's were shit hot, good ride quality and for handling wise, ask anyone who saw it round the orbitals Cool
best handling car/set-up ive had

a better all round set-up than the hks hipermax's i had on the dc2 IMO

MesiterR's are still un-tested, will be on the road 3-4 weeks hopefully

Are these the tockio's you speak of?

http://www.xsrezone.com/Civic-EG-and-Delsol/Shock-Absorbers/Tokico-HP-Shocks-92-95-Civic/Del-Sol/prod_464.html

They don't have dampening and im not too sure about buying from that place i've seen some of the horror stories with them, but they seem to be the only place in the UK i can get hold of them.
