If i lower the offset the wheels will catch on the arches thoe,

as for spacers will i have enough thread for wheel nuts when using spacers, also are spacers safe at high speeds, pot holes?

spaces are fine as long as your wheels are torqued up

I wouldn't recomend spacers, not if you're going to be thrashing it. The wheel is being sat further away from the hub, for looks it's fine, but performance wise and safety it's not good.

Its not more dengerous atall, the same nuts hold it all together, it effectively just lowers the offset of the wheels, makes the hubs thicker if you will

yh i get what you all mean, but for the first time since i had this car so far everything is working in order and i dare not touch anything i dont need to for a while, however when the time is right i will look for some bling ting rims but the wheels i got on for now look the part an because they are just cheapo MG zr wheels i aint stressing about them gettin messed up or stolen lol

Not really, as the lower off-set wheels are designed to be like that. I know what you mean about thicker hubs though, but you're also losing thread on the nuts that way.

I'm not going to get into a big debate about it, that's just how I see it.

if you get for arguments sake a 15x8 et35 te37 and then use 10mm spacers you will efectively have a 15x8 et25 te37, you will obviously loose a bit of thread but 10mm wont make much diff and although everyone buys them just for JDM yo status extended lug nuts are made for this purpose, for race cars to have a wider track
