Didnt think it would go down well but it's a rare knightsports original and i like it.
Been busy this week to, weston performance have got me in a trial as a dyno runner/mechanic/soon to be ecu mapper and they let me use my car as a learning curve and test bed.
Found out that the cars only making 220bhp due to a huge timing/leaning out problem on the map, boost is now more stable since we shove a bleed valve in there for the mo.

Well, interesting few days, been pulling apart a rather ill 300zx and doing dynos but in the mean time ive checked out my fuel system and noticed two things that are trying to kill my engine.
Fuel filter is fucked and the fuel pump wiring is also fucked, so parts are being ordered to solve this as well as turing the turbos back to sequentials, installing an egt gauge, 3 bar map sensor and some sort of boost controller.
Bloody wankels.

Im going for the togue battle/circuit look with it and from some angles it looks mental, been converting it back to seq today and im having to replace a crap load of vac lines as i chopped them up before.
Also my lil camera arrived a few days back so once the rex is behaving then i'll wang a few vids gran turismo style!

Your always busy on this car, i have to say i prefer how it looks in your avatar (looks almost perfect) but by the sounds of it its going to be a blast to drive when you sort your bits, bobs, and gizmo's out.

A sick FD came to the meet last night, u should have popped down man! (popped not really being the fitting word for a long ass drive, lol)

I would have came down but the rex is sitting in the garage and im trolling around in a peal white slammed lexus soarer twin turbo beasty.
To be honest the spoiler does make it look odd right now but i have rear spats ready to go on, loads of satin black paint and a burnout front bumper waiting for me to pay for it.
Right now though im kinda in two minds, i was offered a 350bhp PS13 today for the rex, i did a dyno of it last week and its mint, fast and near stock looking in black.

Should i?

The rex is sick though....hard decision to make. if its a minter, do it!

Im going to think on it for a week, oddly the rex is the better of the two as a daily driver but the ps13 is cheaper to run (only just) and i just love the shape. Might come down to a flip of the coin.

i shit you not my car was actually almost dead yesterday, refused to start, low compressions and horrible fuel smells....split fuel pipe under the inlet was the cause.
I was 10 minutes away from trawling ebay for a chevy v8 lump to hurl in there but alas it was destined to run a rotary, good news is that the boost controllers fitted and the ecu tuning kits on its way from NZ so that gives me time to spray the rest of the car satin and make some cold air feed to the shittest fmic ever lol.
Oh and i;ve driven 3 ps13's today and im not to keen, the rex in its poor ass state is way more fun....however the 220bhp westfield was a blast!

Hey guys, just a little update.
The cars been sat at the unit for a week as i've got fed up of the issue i was having so decided to pull the engine, remove all the loom, solenoids, vac lines and well everything and put it back together my way. (the right way)

I only have those pics of the engine before the battery on my phone conked out but while i was on a roll the air con, air pump, recirc valve, egr valve, air pump pipework and solenoids are junk.
The rats nest is now something of beauty and i'll post pics of that tomorrow, you will be amazed at how much i've cut out and what little i actually need now i run the boost controller,
I think about 70% of it can go in the bin!!!

I've also made a sleepy eye kit and got some inspiration from NFS:shift.

Well thats it for now, i'll update as the week goes on.

Quick update as again im shattered, been driving about and working on the ps13 drift car, scary amount of grip for a sideways machine.
Anyways...
Engines rebuilt and run in, ecu has been remapped and a few personal settings put in by myself, i regret removing the air con right nowm with only one turbo working (other needs a new actuator) im getting 290bhp and 280ftlb of torque at 3400rpm running 16psi boost on the first.
Predicted on the system when the 2nd ones fixed and i tweek the map more so then 350 to 400 is in easy reach and still be reliable....if there is such a thing.
Selling the spoiler and going back to the stock one and ive scored the only set of wide arches this side of japan!!!!
