Thought i would put a few pics of my civic up.. Got it in August looking like this after a granny owned it for most of its life :D Its a 1999 1.6i ls (first car)







2 days later i decided granny mode wasnt doing it for me..

Next thing was to fit my bride brix on a bride super low rail :cool:






Then after trouble from the police i raised the car 30mm all round Brought the spoiler back and angled it abit and got a rear Jap sized plate











Next up.. Ek9 front lip





Ek9 style headlights









Then a twin loop style backbox (Small cause i like stuff just looking tidy!)





After this it was time for the Enkeis to go.. To be replaced with some pretty rare JDM Work CR10s.. I like them alot

In these two photos it just doenst look right to me.. Its mainly the photos that do it but in the real thing they look fine.. The pics dont show how shiny o got them as im no photographer







I didnt like the way the front wheels sit so i lowered it 20mm and got the arches rolled which result in a nice bit of tyre duck and a shit load of camber!!




























Performance wise it just the same as any other non vtec.. Its got a 4branch decat and de-restricted air box but im not doing anything major to the engine but d16y8 inlet manifold and d16y8 gear box..

Im waiting on a few parts from the states at the min.. USDM Grille, USDM Read Recess, USDM Mirrors and Si badges.. All genuine OEM Honda!

Also got foglights to fit!

Sadly its a replica but its not on atm as it broke.. It was stretched on big time to get a good fit!

Im not sure what lip to go for yet but aslong as it isnt plastic!

I love the more simple OEM look with subtle mods.. Im trying to go down the usdm route with it.. Just need to wait on parts..

I was getting trouble with the police because of how bouncy the car was.. They can take cars and and MOT them on the spot and if the car doesnt pass they call it off the road until its sorted.. Plus my sump was getting destroyed

true powelly, i got stopped in my old EF by a copper cus it kept sparking off the floor, couldnt do shit, also got pulled in my aerodeck for the same thing.

A few updates..

Received my USDM parts (grille recess mirrors and an Si badge)

Also decided to take the spoiler off for a while..

I have to admit that i dont like the idea of USDM'ing a honda, its a jap car and we live in the UK, but i cant say the car doesnt look sick.

Will look better with a front lip i reckon too.
