Abit of bad/good news, the other night my calipers seized on and had to get toed home lol bugger
so i brought a left caliper as the left size was the one screaching and seemed to be causeing the problem, then when i went to change it today and found out both calipers are fooked lol so need to get a right caliper aswell, got it on order now so should be here tuesday
Other than that lil hickp ive -
Started striping the back.
took the old struts off the front.
tetrosealed the "forks" that the struts sit in so they nice n black.
tetrosealed under all 4 arches.

should be back on all 4 wheels by next weekend but its not going back on road yet still more things to get done hehehe

Got these deliverd today aswell hehe

WEHEYYY bounce bounce bounce tongue Very Happy Very Happy
FINALY Got the Coilovers and LCA's on.
I havent slammed it as of yet because i thought id let them bed in abit and see if there was any teathing problems and if there is its a lil bit easyer to get the jack under (even though i carnt now lol)
took it a test drive and its soooo much better they are adjustable 30clicks soft/hard so i set them on 10 front and back and its still doesnt bounce at all if you push down on the wing or boot, there is still 3inches left to go down on the coilovers lol all in all HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY.
heres a few quick pics, ( before i get raped -as i said i will lower it down in a week or so) it does look abit lower than the pics tbh i think its the angle ive took it at doh! i also found a pic of my old fiesta i had before this so i added it to the first page of this thread lol just because i can :-p

Wow! is this the same car?!

looks way better without that bra too, let the shocks settle in and get the arch kissing the top of the tyre, will look tough.

looks real nice tho

had a spare hour today so lowerd the front abit more, the tyres are just tucking the arches now, i also hardend them abit aswell so they are on 15 clicks up front and 17 at the rear and it handles EPIC lol such an improvment over standard. took it round the orbital earlyer (only live 2 secs from it so its my test track lol) didnt push it to much as i realy need new tyres but it still feels ace. only thing i dont like is the 9 speed bumps i have to get over to get to my house Sad
ill get some pics of the Buddyclub LCA's if anyone wants to see them????

yeah that was me lols.
yeah its ALOT lower than in the pic, chassis rails are bout inch and half off the floor Very Happy lots of scraping.
weird thing is it looks standard ride height to me now. i wanna lower it loads more....but i carnt.
rockin abit of camber aswell hehe.

on another note though, it wont even idle now. if u turn it on it will idle ok, then as soon as i touch the revs and let go again it just dies ;S
need to get it sorted for tuesday as its MOT time ;(

oh i see, try checking and cleaning all the sensors on and around the inlet area. my car still aint on the road yet so have to get bus Sad hate it!
tell me about it! ive got all three to pay too! hopefully on the 5th so i can drive again. deposits for insurance is a killer! especially when you only work 12 hours a week! i reckon next month you look into getting an engine (: even if its a d16z6/y8 still be a beast!

hmmm if you cleaned all round and the cable is tight i have no idea.
a Y8 conversion would be easy as pie in your car! literally all you would need is the engine, loom, ecu, TB, inlet, and buy 4-2-1 manifold and gearbox if you wanted it.

everything else should bolt on.

and you wouldnt need a conversion harness or anything as the Y8 is out of an ek/ej/em shape.

would take a day to swap everything over and get it running.

DO IT!

you bmx then? where you go?

dremmel the screws so that u can undo them, then u need a volt meter to check what its puttin out, but if the problem has only recently started its proberly somthin thats gone wrong somewhere and might need to change it.
